Picture project Act Your Age / Lichtjaren


AUSUFERN (GE, 2016 – 2018)
Production manager of AUSUFERN, a series of mini-festivals that take place every first 4 days of the summer months in and around the performing arts hub Uferstudios in Wedding, Berlin.

Choreographic Radio (GE, 2015 – 2017)
Choreographic Radio is a project of Ana Tricao, Adrian Shepard, Sonja Augart and me that aims to create a new artistic practice to reflect, debate and respond to changes in contemporary times. Choreographic Radio is an experimental playground that uses choreographic strategies to make radio and was invited to the Dance Congress in Hannover in 2016.

NONcompany (NO, 2015)
In 2015 I  worked as producer of the Norwegian theatre company NONcompany and was responsible for the development of the strategy to increase the international scope of the company.

Dutch Dance Dialogues (NL, 2014)
The Dutch Dance Dialogues is a biennial programme  for dance professionals, cultural entrepreneurs and national and international programmers, organized by the Dutch Dance Festival. In 2014 I was project leader of this programme that focused on Dance & Fashion and Dance & Gender.

Workshop teacher at B-Motion (IT, 2014)
Together with dramaturge Merel Heering I provided the summer course during B-Motion festival in Bassano del Grappa, Italy.

Act Your Age (EU, 2012 – 2013)
I was involved in the project development of the European project Act Your Age, which aimed to tackle the topic of ageing through choreography. Apart from writing the European subsidy application, I was artistic coordinator of the research week at the Dutch Dance Festival in October 2012, moderator and interviewer of the participating artists for the video series A Taste of Act Your Age and editor of the booklet Act Your Age that was produced at the end of this two-year project.

International Young Makers in Action (NL, 2012 – 2016)
From 2012 to 2016 I was the project manager of the project International Young Makers in Action in which eight European festivals aimed to promote emerging artists on an international scale.

Look! Dance (NL, 2013)
For Theater Frascati in Amsterdam I developed five lectures in which I gave insight in the development of dance, duets and possibilities to look at and discuss about dance.

The Recycle Project (NL, 2011)
In collaboration with Inge Koks I developed the Recycle Project in which the performance Les Sylphides was reinterpreted by choreographers Nicole Beutler, Ulrike Quade and André Gingras. The project was selected for the Performance Studies Conference Camillo 2.0 in May 2011, Utrecht.

Crash Course Dance (NL, 2010)
Commissioned by the Dutch Dance Festival and in collaboration with Vincent Wijlhuizen I developed a 20-minute crash course in which high school students got acquainted with a short history of dance and the practical tools of creating.
